Artist Statement

I am deeply inspired by the beauty of nature. I love painting images of animals, florals, insects, and seascapes. I use light colors that inspire a calm, happy feeling when you look at my paintings. I gather my ideas from the colors and textures found in the world around me. My work focuses on on things that inspire me daily, so my motifs are always changing. I create abstract compositions and expressive compositions as well as more detailed paintings and portraits. I paint, not only what I see, but also what I feel as I paint the world around me.

The role of a visual artist is to make people think and reflect inwardly. My personal mission is to convey positivity through my art. I hope that my paintings bring a sense of calm in the midst of the chaos in the world. I love creating bright images of nature and animals to bring appreciation to the beauty in our world.
